The Learning Resource Center is here to help you succeed!

about the learning resource center

The LRC is a center of teaching and learning. The purpose of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) is to serve as a center of teaching and learning, to fulfill information needs, and to assist in development of information literacy skills. The collections will support and reflect the curriculum and purpose of Alaska Christian College, with particular emphasis on discipleship, Biblical studies, theology, missions, life skills, and general education.

The collection gives students access to over 70,000 resources in both print and non-print formats with emphasis in the areas of discipleship, Christian life, missions, theology, paraprofessional education, behavioral health and general education.

The LRC has thousands of resources to enable you to succeed in your studies. Materials held physically in our campus library may be searched through our online library catalog.

Students also have access to many databases including: Credo Reference, Contemporary Authors, Opposing Viewpoints in Context, ATLASerials, and many more. All Alaska residents have access to hundreds of resources through the Alaska Library Network’s Digital Pipeline.

Interlibrary loans are available through the Christian Library Consortium. Catalogs of other libraries in Alaska may be viewed through ALNCAT (Alaska Library Network Catalog).

ACC students may also use the materials and services of the KPC Library.
